This fully funded workshop series over three days is designed to give a solid foundation when planning to start and develop a successful business, the workshops, tailored for women, will also help to identify both the potential barriers and benefits and build your resilience and self-belief when considering starting out in business.

Introduction to Self Employment Session 1

This session will help to identify both the potential barriers and benefits for self employment and build your resilience and self-belief when considering starting out in business and cover topics such as imposter syndrome. Designed for women, it will help you to consider the fundamentals involved with creating your own business with confidence.

Introduction to Business Planning and Finance Session 2

This workshop looks at the importance of implementing a Business Plan for your enterprise. As a potential entrepreneur this session will look at how you can formulate a strategy for your business and looks in depth at all the different factors you will need to consider.

The workshop will cover the key points when writing a business plan to establish feasibility. We will look at mission statements, personal profiles, marketing strategy and the use of financial planning documents for your business.

Networking & Presentation Skills Session 3

This workshop, designed specifically for female entrepreneurs covers the practical tips and techniques to navigate nerves and present with confidence in a professional setting. Whether you are looking to pitch for investment or attend and speak at professional networking events to promote your business, this session is here to give you to practical tools and advice to approach this with confidence.

The following topics will be covered during the session;

– Getting the most from networking and how to grow your network.

-Approaching professional networking with confidence to enable you to best promote your business.

-Presenting and pitching , what makes an effective presentation/pitch, how to best prepare, navigating through lack of confidence and how to perform well in a pressured environment.

– Opportunity to practice techniques and pitch/present your business in a safe environment with a small group of women.
