My Story and Professional Growth

Growing up, I always had a business mindset and was naturally drawn to creating opportunities for myself and others. From early experiences in small scale trading to launching my own online platform promoting Sierra Leonean creatives, I developed a strong understanding of how businesses grow, connect with people and build visibility in a meaningful way. As I continued to explore the digital space, I became more interested in how businesses show up online and how a strong online presence can transform a brand. This led me to develop my skills in web design, digital marketing and content creation, eventually building SK Design Media as a platform to help businesses establish clarity, credibility and growth online.

Alongside this journey, I gained experience working in a corporate security role, which I took on to support my responsibilities and maintain stability at the time. While it served a purpose, I knew it was not aligned with the direction I truly wanted for my future. After facing challenges that affected my wellbeing, I made the decision to step away and focus on building a path that reflected my strengths and long-term vision.

Instead of going back to a situation that no longer served me, I chose to invest in myself by enrolling in a full-time Creative Media Production course at college, where I have been developing my skills in digital content, design and visual storytelling. This experience has strengthened both my technical ability and my confidence, allowing me to approach my work with more clarity and purpose.

Today, I work with consultants, coaches, service providers and organisations to create strategic, conversion-focused websites that are not just designed to look good, but built to communicate clearly, build trust and attract the right clients. My approach is shaped by both experience and understanding, and I focus on how your website works as a tool to support your business growth, positioning and visibility. As I complete my studies in 2026, my focus is to continue growing SK Design Media into a full-time business, building a sustainable and purpose driven career while helping others create a strong and effective online presence

It has allowed me to work independently, support other businesses and take full ownership of my career path. Through this, I have developed now only my technical skills in web design and digital strategy but also my ability to think strategically, manage clients professionally and building solution that help businesses grow with clarity and confidence.

Digital Marketing

My interest in digital marketing grew alongside my web design work, leading me to complete several programmes where I developed skills in online strategy, campaign creation and understanding how businesses attracts and convert customers online which now plays a key role in how I approach every website project.

London 2012 Games

Working at the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games gave me the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and professional environment where I developed strong communication skills, adaptability and confidence working with different and continues to influence how I manage clients and projects today.
